I have just read your blog about Ahmed Ismail Khatib's death and donation of his organs.
I am a BBC World Service Producer and I'm looking for callers for a debate programme tonight. I work for World Have Your Say and this will be one of our topics. I was wondering if you would like to take part.
Please email me your contact numbers if you are interested and I will ring you further to disucuss.
Best wishes

Hmm... I haven't had any dealings with them but she is who she says she is. You being you, I'd trust you talking more than most people. You could do a lot of good. I would find out who is doing the opposing view and research them to see if they're a bomb thrower and what you're truly dealing with or if it seems like it will be a fair discussion. Definitely keep us updated. Oh and in case you haven't seen this already, though I'm guesing you have, her bio is on this page:

esther,
I am afraid of walking into an ambush. I appreciate your confidence in my ability to handle whatever is thrown my way.
Seawitch,
It's very "Left wing" -I am sure the angle they wish to get is: "Forgivness despite Israel's cruelty".
But, you can always talk to them before agreeing into anything.
felis,
I figured as much. I sent an e-mail back asking what time the show was and she hasn't responded.
Very left wing? Not surprising since it is the BBC. All the more reason why you could do some real good. But yes, do go the Daniel Pipes route and find out who they have you with before you allow yourself to possibly be ambushed.
esther,
If she has read any of my other posts, the likely hood of being ambushed is real.
Fiona Crack???
mark,
That's what the name said on the e-mail!
I have set up a petition to have the Khatib family recognized as "Family of the Year," or for the Nobel Peace Prize. Please sign it at:
