How Many Will It Take?

How many Israeli lives must be taken by homicide bombers before people stop trying to justify the murderous acts of terror by Palestinians? How many more Israeli lives must be torn asunder before movies such as Paradise are condemned world-wide as a propaganda tool for the murderous acts of suicide bombers? How many more Israeli lives must be taken? Is it the latest four in yet another cowardly attack on a shopping mall in Netanya? Some of the targets and intended targets of suicide/homicide bombers in Israel are pizza parlors, shopping malls, busses, and hospitals. If that doesn't create a sense of rage in people I don't know what will. For the past five years Israel has suffered almost daily terror attacks, from Qassam rockets, to suicide bombers, to drive by shootings of teenagers waiting for a ride, and elderly people coming home from a wedding. How many more attacks or attempted attacks must occur?

I suppose it's a step forward in that pictures of the bombers family were not plastered all over the place this time. Four innocent people just waiting in line to enter a shopping mall have become the latest in yet another attack against a shopping mall. Thirty-five people have been wounded. Thirty-nine more families will have to deal with the aftermath of yet another senseless slaughter committed by a murdering coward seeking some sort of skewed idea of paradise and glory.

People, suicide bombers are not soldiers in a war. They are not freedom fighters. They are not insurgents. They are not militants. They are terrorists and murdering cowards who target shopping malls!! To call them anything else gives an implied justification for their acts of terror and murder.

Oooops!
Getting old.
Wrong spot.

"some sort of skewed idea of paradise and glory."

The only thing, which gives me great comfort in all this sensless killingsis that the suicidal maniacs died for nothing.

In a rare show of lunacy, the Washington Times printed an article on the suicide bombing with a picture of the brother of the suicide bomber next to a sweet picture of the bomber as a youngster. Rather shocking.

I saw later where they were showing pictures of the suicide bombers mom. MSNBC had a picture of the entrance to the shopping mall and that was the only news story I had seen when I wrote the bit about a least their not showing the bombers family.
