A Tradition Continues

Biloxi has an annual Christmas on the Water Parade. It's a beautiful custom whereby boats are decorated, sometimes very elaboratly, and then parade over the water. People usually line the piers and the beach to watch these colorful boats.

There was some doubt as to whether the parade will held this year. But it is. It will be held on December 17, 2005, starting at 6:00pm. I don't know if very many people will actually be able to view the parade because the conditions at the beach are still dangerous. But it's nice to know that one by one our traditions are coming back.
