Complaint Department

I have some new neighbors that moved into the house behind mine a couple of months ago. Extremely weird. One day I go outside and he's looking for his cat. That's not weird. What's weird is the cat won't go to him but will to me. So I hand him his cat and the cat scratches his arm bloody. Strike one, his cat doesn't like him. Strike two, I came home from work the other day and he had used my lawn to get to his driveway. I politely asked him not to do it again.

So, I see he's been doing it again. Counter-strike time!! Since this is a good time to be transplanting, I dug up numerous plants. I now have a barrier that he better not drive across.

I must be getting back to normal. I feel like complaining again and it feels good!

Let your lawn grow about six inches tall.

Lay some naily-assed boards in the grass at the point he uses as a driveway and cover them with clippings.

Sit back and watch as hilaruty ensues.

mark,

I save that technique for the corner where everybody cuts across. :) I have a corner lot.

HEHEHE! Good idea, Mark!
I had some weird neighbors, once. Their house was on the side that our kid's rooms were on. I had just got the baby to sleep, and at that time I was rather sleep deprived myself, as the baby was newborn.
They chose that moment, at 11:30pm to CRANK their rap music. The baby started to scream.
I just started sobbing.(No patience when you get less than three consecutive hours of sleep at any time.)

When my hubby saw me cry, he snapped; ran outside and threatend to make them eat the stereo. The funny thing was, the neighbor across the street, who is a big trucker, also decided at that very moment that he'd had enough, and ran out as well.

That method seemed to work well!

Strong fences make good neighbors. I don't know who authored that comment but it is true with countries as well as with every day people.
