A Drive Along Hwy 90 - West Biloxi

My son works for a heating and air conditioning repair and installation company. Being part of the necessary rebuilding going on, while at work, he can go down Hwy. 90. Yesterday, when he came home he asked if he could take my camera to work with him as they would be working again in West Biloxi today. Here are some of the scenes that he saw:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com I am not sure where or what this used to be. I believe it's close to Edgewater Mall only because my son was in it's vicinity when took these pictures.

I think he took some good shots. Especially considering that the truck he was in was moving.

I got to stay in the Grand Casino and have been to Jefferson Davis's home/museum while I was in the Navy. I hope they are able to get back to some semblance of normalcy soon. Still praying for you all. I wanted to also thank you for the honor of being linked here. I love your blog.

elmer's brother,

At Beauvior, repairs are already underway. The library and all the paintings were ok. The casinos can now move on land. It'll be a while before things are normal. And thanks!!

esther,

I'll show him what you said and thanks. Last night was the first time he even looked at my site!

Never fear. Our hearts sink and then we shrug it off and get back to rebuilding. One day laughing, one day crying. But you learn to cope. These days there are is a lot more laughter than tears.
