Excuses, Excuses
Here are my excuses for not posting as much lately:
1: The cat jumped on the keyboard just as I was about to post and deleted it
2: Too busy feeding squirrels
3: Turner Classic Movies has had some really good ones on lately
4: The dog ate it
5: Carbs from Papa John's pizza have frozen my brain
If you would like to suggest any other excuses I might try, please feel free to share!

Hi Karen,
After Katrina ... then Rita I have been more focused about what is realy important in my life.
Posting in my blog just doesn't seem to be as important as it used to be.
Maybe you have these same feelings?
jack,
In a way. I find it difficult to write about things I used to post. All my energy is focused on what is going on around me.
jack,
I forgot to say thank you to you and all the others that have worked so hard and are still working to get the power back on.
Thank you!!!!
patrickafir.
Ditto what Gindy said. It is a pretyy good list. Thnaks for the laugh.
Organizing the sock drawer and tying up loose ends in the unified field theory seem apt!!
My most frequent excuse is reading other blogs. Like this one!
GN,
That works also!!
I would imagine with all of the tremendous stress you are under, and with your brain trying to wrap itself around soooo much, you are simply drained at the end of the day.
AW,
That's true. Maybe I should try my sisters remedy, more vitamins!!
"I'm too Schindlers"
...I use that one all the time!
boz,
I haven't heard that one before. The possibilities are endless.
In case ya'll missed St Casserole's comment in the other section, I thought I'd share it with you
The smell of burning debris is just too lovely to miss by being inside blogging.
I was stuck in traffic behind 35 out-of-state pickup trucks.
I wanted to blog but all I could think about was loss.
Priceless!!
She is from down here also.
In fact I was very busy.
And I mean it.
felis,
I'm usually never too busy to blog. But it is a good one.
