Fall Colors

This afternoon, I took the following in my flowerbed. The plant is a lantana and the butterfly is a Gulf Fritillary.

Gorgeous picture, Karen—good work. I've been wanting to get some photos of the New England foliage, but the rain is not only preventing me from doing so, but it's alwo knocking a lot leaves off the trees before they even change colors.

Thank you. Ya'll have been getting rain that we actually need down here. It has only rained once since Katrina hit. It's a shame about the leaves. I always marvel at the pictures of the color changes in NE. We mostly have pine trees and our signs of fall are much subtler.
