Progress

Since Biloxi Mississippi was first colonized by the French in 1699, it has prospered through commerce on the Gulf of Mexico. This is true today. Except for one major change. Whereas before, it was the fisherman who brought the bounty home, it is now the casinos. The way Mississippi law reads, all casinos must be on the water. The newest, Hard Rock, is expected to open sometime this month.

The casinos have brought a lot of good jobs to the coast and has had a good impact. The shrimp boats are still bringing in their bounty but there are fewer and fewer of them.

esther,

They have a lot of great entertainment and food. The slot machines and black jack tables are BANDITS though.

One arm bandits, actually. ;) LOVE IT! The video slots are the best, actually. My two favorites are the Austin Powers Spy who Shagged me (Goldmember sucks) and Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone. The former is just fun to listen to and play, the latter has a great pay schedule. Always use the one on the aisle with the most foot traffic; they want them to get attention and make people play so I believe they set the payout schedule higher. Yes, I am a gambling geek, lol.

eshter,

I haven't actually played any of the one armed bandits in a while(2 years). When I do, it usually Triple 7's or Red, White and Blue.
